What we’re about
Whether you are an avid reader, or US Magazine is your literature of choice, this book club is for you. We meet every other Wednesday, discussing a book over two meetings (unless it's a short one). New books are selected at the meetings, usually the first meeting of the current book. Please attend and nominate/vote for the next book selection!
It is not required for you to have read the book to attend. Please attend even if you haven't read the book. We do it all the time! The primary purpose of the book club is to be a club. Books are the second purpose. The third purpose is wine. ;)
Make sure you click "Attend" for a meeting to receive an email with the address, about a day before. Double check your Meetup notification settings to ensure you receive that email.
When you attend book club, make sure to ask about joining the Discord server!

Rand al’Thor, the Dragon Reborn, is ready to fulfill his destiny. To defeat the enemy that threatens them all, he must convince his reluctant allies that his plan—as foolhardy and dangerous as it appears—is their only chance to stop the Dark One’s ascension and secure a lasting peace. But if Rand’s course of action fails, the world will be engulfed in shadow.Across the land, Mat, Perrin, and Egwene engage in battle with Shadowspawn, Trollocs, Darkfriends, and other creatures of the Blight. Sacrifices are made, lives are lost, but victory is unassured. For when Rand confronts the Dark One in Shayol Ghul, he is bombarded with conflicting visions of the future that reveal there is more at stake for humanity than winning the war.
